David George, Ed.D.

I bring a lifetime of experience in education, public leadership, and service that has shaped my understanding of the American condition. Over a decade in higher education, I earned a B.A. in Economics, an M.P.A., and a Doctorate in Education with a specialization in Organization Development. I also served four years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. My career in public higher education includes serving as president of two community colleges and vice president of a third, with teaching experience in critical thinking, leadership and management, and small business development. Beyond academia, I have worked as a consultant in small business and personal development. Having lived across the Northeast, South, Midwest, Southwest, and now the West, I’ve had the opportunity to observe the nation’s strengths and struggles from multiple regional perspectives. I am married, the father of four daughters, and the proud grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. As a citizen who has lived through nearly one-third of America’s history, I write with both long-range perspective and deep personal investment in the country’s future.
