About Education Driven Leadership

Education Driven Leadership is a weekly newsletter for people who lead schools and systems. I write it for superintendents, cabinet members, principals, and the leaders stepping into those roles next. Trade news tells you what happened. Research tells you what the studies found. This newsletter tells you what to do about it, from people who have had to do it.

I spent 35 years in public education, the last chapter as a superintendent. I present the research that is worth your time, add honest reflection from the field, and give you at least one thing you can act on before your next leadership meeting. Some weeks that means a hard look at policy. Some weeks it means a conversation with a leader who has faced what you are facing, shared through our podcast.
